These lavender bags are 5cm x 7cm, and each contains 2g of lavender. The smaller bags are a great size for drawers. For larger areas, like a walk in robe, we recommend the larger bags. To keep the lavender fragrant, give it a squeeze every now and then.

The organic lavender in these bags is grown by us at our bee-farm on the Mornington Peninsula. This is not imported lavender! We only sell the current season's lavender (each season lavender is harvested between December and May). We keep this lavender near our beehives on Victoria's Mornington Peninsula as it is a great source of nectar for our bees in times when the tea tree and Moonah aren't flowering. We harvest the lavender, dry it and package it ourselves.

This is a lavandula angustifolia x intermedia. Intermedia is a strong scented lavender perfect for crafts, potpourri, soaps, lavender bags, bath salts etc. Intermedia can also be used in cooking but the lavender in these bags may have small parts of lavender stems etc and so we do not recommend using this lavender in cooking.
